Catherine Skinner Photography specialise in contemporary family portraiture, be that capturing emotive & romantic images of your wedding, the energy and vibrance of your child for their nursery photograph, or creating a photographic family heirloom from your family portrait session.

Catherine was married in Winchester in the beautiful church of St Cross and planned and arranged the wedding herself, so she knows what it’s like! A stress free day is really important and Catherine can help you achieve that by ensuring your photography is relaxed and fits in with your day – not the other way round -providing a wonderful mix of reportage and contemporary formal portraiture.

With a studio space in Barton Stacey village and a mobile studio, choose to have your  studio portraits taken at home or come to us.  A typical session will combine some relaxed studio shots with high-key white backgrounds, mixed with more traditional portraiture, and some outdoor images, to ensure you get a variety of shots for your album. With her own two children both under 4 years old, Catherine specialises in photographing children and families.

Catherine is a Licentiate member of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) and trained at Salisbury College.  Her work has been exhibited in the Salisbury Arts Centre, Waterstones, Polly’s Teaooms and Glenside Hospital.
