Experience
Four years at art college, a member of the CSD, BDI and Canon’s CPS.
I have huge experience in all aspects of photography, most importantly I’m great with people and really enjoys working face to face, be it with a large group or just one to one.
I always strive to be ‘on trend’ to give the work a real sense now, that will really place the artistic mood of the time into your photos – In years to come I hope they will really evoke the era when you were married.
But more than any thing else I try really hard to be a sensitive and fun to be around, I see my role as to add to the enjoyment of your day as well as take great pictures.
We used Simon for our wedding in September 2009. He totally understood the non-fussy style and laidback approach we wanted. Lots of our guests mentioned how relaxed and calm he was at the wedding – so much better than the normal bossy wedding photographer. And the photos look amazing! Working with Simon was really fun and we’d recommend him without hesitation (in fact we already have to some friends).
We used Simon and his trusty aide for our wedding in November 2008. I had pre-warned them that I was not fond of in-your-face photographers and I preferred natural shots. On the day I have to say that we felt totally unpressurised by them and were all able to enjoy the day. Simon certainly puts in a lot of energy and enthusiasm and managed to get a very special shot whilst running alongside my horse and carriage. We now have this framed on our wall and it is a very special reminder of our memorable day. I would have no hesitation in recommending him if you want some amazing pictures.
Simon photographed our wedding in May 2008 and did a superb job. We are delighted with the pictures and many of our guests commented on how friendly and enthusiastic Simon was on the day, and how well he managed to organise people and to take unobtrusive pictures. Simon made us feel really at ease when taking pictures of just the two of us and I would recommend him to anyone.
