Commercial photographer Darrin Jenkins specialises in high quality photography of still-life, food, lifestyle, corporate portraits, cars, people, abstract and products for many uses such as brochures and packaging to advertising campaigns. The studio is in Codicote, Hertfordshire, just north of London. The studio is well equipped with high-end digital cameras and digital lighting with a full sized kitchen for food photos. Locations span Herts including St Albans, Stevenage, Hitchin, Cambridge, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, London, South East England and the rest of the world of course!

Photography is not always just about capturing the product or view just as it is, usually lighting is required, which is a skill on it’s own that only comes with experience. Different lighting set ups are required for just about every subject from jewellery to hotel interiors, often using specialist lights and lenses to get the best results.

Darrin says: “I love to find the new angles on the subjects and be creative with lighting and composition, often I am asked to photograph products in an abstract way and regularly asked for my creative and technical input. The whole process starts well before the shoot day, so that when the shoot day arrives everything runs smoothly.”
