I love photographing weddings and working with you to get the best images from the day you have thought long and hard about. My approach is all about storytelling and I find that every wedding is a very personal and unique day. Contemporary wedding photography should be all about the individuals involved and I don’t aim to create a ‘generic’ set of wedding photographs but work with you as a couple to create bespoke images that are personal to you – that way you’ll love them.

I shoot most of the day in a modern, reportage style that allows the day to flow so that everyone can just enjoy it, capturing people looking natural and relaxed. I combine this photojournalistic approach with some time spent producing contemporary portraits to create a beautiful and complete record of the wedding day.

There is always an element of ‘formal’ photography on wedding days – everyone is together in one place after all! – but I don’t let this dominate the day and generally shoot some more formal but relaxed family portraits in reasonably quick time (I think the day should flow and not have to ‘stop’ for the photographer).

I like to keep pricing simple. One price to cover the whole day, no hidden extras or additional cost. You commission me to photograph your wedding and that’s what I do, to your timetable.
