BA (Hons) in Editorial and Documentary photography
I love photographing people! And it is such a privilege for me to be able to photograph people on one of the most important days of their lives. I try to create simple, honest but extraordinary photographs that you will treasure for the rest of your lives.I try to document your wedding day in a relaxed and informal style – I do not try to construct images but let the day happen, after all I’ll get much better images if you’re enjoying yourselves, having fun!
I graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 1995 with a BA (Hons) in Editorial and Documentary photography. After a spell of assisting advertising and commercial photographers in London, I concentrated my talents with photographing people. I have worked for several magazines as an editiorial, fashion and portrait photographer and so it was a natural progression to concentrate on lifestyle wedding and portrait photography.
We used James to photograph our wedding. It was a big wedding, lots of family and friends and logistically quite difficult. He not only coped with all that we threw at him but made the whole process seamless and an absolute joy. We knew from having met him that we had confidence in his abilities but he out-did himself with the amazing images he got from the day. Highly recommend James as a professional and very talented photographer.
