I’m a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Beccles in the wonderful county of Suffolk. I just adore taking pictures of weddings and I take immense pride in capturing the most unique and individual images for you to look back on for years to come.

Bev photographed our wedding in March last year. We saw her website and chose her instantly as we loved the little details she captured and she definately did not disappoint! Bev is a lovely, bubbly and incredibly funny lady who made us feel at ease throughout the day and captured every moment beautifully. Our photobook is gorgeous and we love to show it off whenever possible! We would most definately recommend her to anyone who is getting married or who wants some gorgeous photos to treasure forever. We will certainly be booking her soon for some new family photos!
Beverley was ideal for us as she didnt cost the earth but at the same time wiped the floor with alot of other photographers we had looked into. Beverley is so easy going, she will never take “false” photos, everything is always on the move and natural. She didnt stop clicking all day which is why we got so many superb photos. Everyone has commented at how good our photos are which is why we would happily recommened her to ANYONE. She really topped off a perfect day for us both.
Bev is not only a wonderful photographer but has become a very special friend, she has taken lots of special pictures of us with lots of laughs along the way! we got married July 2010 and I still look at the pictures every day! she captured our day so perfectly. she is so friendly, happy and cares. What a talented photographer! She photographed our newborn in September 2010 and we couldn’t have been happier with what she did. I would recommend Beverley to every bride looking for natural, happy pictures that really capture your day. From the first time we met Beverley, we clicked and she totally understood what we were looking for, and she didn’t disappoint. She was relaxed and her approach meant that we enjoyed our day without us or our guests feeling that the photographer had taken over, infact most of the time we didn’t know she was there! Which was amazing when she sent through the hundreds of photos for us to choose from. When I first looked at Beverley Harrison’s website I thought, Wow she’s going to be too expensive for my son and his fiancee, but Bev worked out a package to suit their budget and they were over the moon with the results. Bev doesn’t miss an opportunity to capture that split second, unexpected moment, that special look or touch of the hand, she captures it all. She has an eye for detail and instinctively knows what will turn a good photograph into an exceptional photograph! We found her to be a truly professional photographer who cares deeply about her work and her clients. I cannot praise Bev highly enough, in fact I still carry a few of her business cards in my handbag ready to hand out to anyone who even mentions the possibility of a wedding! Having Bev as the photographer at our wedding was like having a dear family friend taking the photos. Not only is she a fantastically talented photographer, but she is also one of the most warm and kind people you could wish to meet.
My husband and I had a great laugh (and some lovely cake!) when we met for some pre-wedding shots a few months prior to the big day. This not only meant that we had a great idea of how our wedding pics were going to turn out, but also that we were looking forward to Bev coming as much as we were the other guests!
On the day itself she was amazing, managing to keep control of my numerous, and occasionally unruly, wedding guests! She put everybody at ease and managed to take some of the most beautiful shots I have ever seen, even of people who had warned me beforehand that they would not be in pictures as they were so camera-shy!
I was initially not keen on having a formal photographer, believing that posing for photographs would only serve to delay the meal! But Bev has a way about her that makes having your photos taken by her one of the best parts of the day! Guests at my wedding were asking me on the day where they could book her, before they’d even seen what the pictures were like!
Everybody told me to remember each moment of the day as it goes by so quickly, and on the day itself I was sad to admit that it did fly by in flash! But in my wedding photos, Bev has somehow managed to capture every moment, the exact atmosphere, that when I look at them, I feel like I am back there again and the memories are as clear as ever! I feel exceptionally lucky to have had my photos taken by her.

Words can not explain how happy we were with Bev’s wedding photography. When looking round for possible photographers for our wedding we came across Bev’s website, to be honest we thought she would be completely out of our price range considering the quality of her work…. we were pleasantly surprised!
The pictures that Bev took of our wedding day were absolutely perfect and the moments she caught on camera were a reflection of our day that we will now cherish forever. Bev has a natural talent and we would recommend her to anyone. If you are looking for a photographer look no further she is simply the best!!
Our wedding was on 17th June and despite bad weather, Beverly did a wonderful job in getting some beautiful pictures both inside and outside. She was very versatile, getting a mixture of formal group and ceremony shots, unset shots that captured the mood and lovely stylistic photographs, in particular of us (the bride and groom). She made us feel very comfortable, striking a perfect balance between organising people for certain shots and not having too much of a presence. Consequently, we have a wonderful collection of photographs to remember our big day.
She was also very prompt at getting the pictures uploaded, even putting a few samples up the next day, the whole selection was on her website in a fortnight, meaning several of our family who were unable to attend could see them all soon. In summary, she provided an excellent service at a reasonable price.
I would recomend Bev to anyone, she is so lovely and easy to talk to as soon as my husband and I first met her we both knew she was the right photographer for us. She takes so much pride in her work and is such a fantastic photographer, she has so many diffetrent styles too to please all. I felt so comfortable talking to her about the pics we wanted for our album. Bev and I had a few giggles along the way too she is so much fun to be around and my hubby is quite camera shy but even he felt relaxed about it all because bec just made him feel at ease. Bev wants to do her job well and she most certainly does!! She really is a star!! When I have children 1 day i will definately get her to take some snaps 4 me!! 10 out of 10 most definaty!! Our wedding album looks so great I have loved showing it off to all our friend, family and work colleuges!!
What can we say? We’d seen Bev’s work on her website and heard how good she was, but nothing could prepare us for the stunning photographs she produced of our son’s wedding.
As well as that she was a delight to have at the wedding. Her friendly smile and easy-going demeanour coupled with a thoroughly professional approach made an enormous contribution to the happiness of the occasion.

Beverley was recommended to us by some friends who got married a few months before we were due to tie the knot. Beverley was professional from the start, at the pre-wedding shoot through to the big day itself. As many of the reviews have already said she is excellent at putting everyone at ease. She’s gentle and persuasive when required with the children and strong enough to herd everyone together when the “group” photos need taking. Also she was happy to have a joke or two with both us and the guests. The photos themselves are excellent, they all catch the moment so well and photo after photo still brings a smile to my face and after all is said and done you have your memories and the photos, oh and of course not forgetting to mention, a new wife in my case!
We would recommend Bev to anybody who is looking for the following:

For us, like anybody else, wanted the best wedding photographer possible to capture our special day. We searched for months viewing many websites and visiting many wedding fayres and finally picked Bev.
We have recently received our beautiful wedding album which we will treasure forever, along with the full HD CD which is even better than we could have wished for.
We would fully recommend Bev to anybody who wants the best. My sister has now seen our album etc and wanted to book Bev for her own wedding for next summer – unfortunately Bev was booked on that particular date which was very unfortunate.
If you book Bev for your wedding you will definitely NOT be disappointed!!

Bev did our wedding last October, and from the first phone call to her in June last year she has been looking after us. She put us both at ease over the phone and after our first meeting we knew we would hire her. Naturally easy going and upbeat, she assured us she would capture the natural happiness of the wedding with no stuffy posed pictures. She did a pre-wedding shoot which allowed us to involve our dogs and horses. All guests and family members have commented on how pleasant Bev was during our wedding day and all very impressed with the quick turnaround of pictures once ordered. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she has done above and beyond just being the photographer. Picked up our album today, and it is breathtaking. Can’t recommend her enough.
