The beauty of a billboard advert is that it is an ideal way for you to showcase your work to all visitors to the site. It provides an attention grabbing opportunity to present your best work to potential clients. You can also add any text that you want to your advert.

All they need to do then is click on your photograph and they are taken directly to either your listing for more information or to your website, its your choice. From that point you are in full control of the process of converting them into becoming your customer.

There are a maximum of 6 advertising billboards available on a first come first served basis and each advert lasts for 6 months

Dimensions

The pictures are an attention grabbing 920 pixels wide by 300 pixels high. You can choose whether to use a single photograph or make up a composite image. The important point is to build an advert you feel has the best chance of making a potential client click through to your website.

Text

As you can see by taking a look at the home page billboards currently online, the bottom of the images are tastefully overlaid with a transparent shadow box in which you should include your attention grabbing heading line (whether this be your name, special offer price or photographic specialism) There is then space to include some details text to further entice the visitor to your offer.

Each month we have one slot on the site for our featured guest photographer. If you have a flickr account (and if you don’t – why not? its a great tool for photographers and free – signup here) you can have your images shown throughout the website on every internal web page. This means that a direct link to your listing and optionally directly to your website, will be available from anywhere within the site, even your competitors listings!
